Based on the perception sensitivity of the "flicker" that appears on the screen, you can easily measure the fatigue degree in smartphones and tablets.
With the aim of applying it to daily health management and business fatigue management, we have developed the "Flicker Health Management System," an application software that allows you to objectively measure fatigue, "anyone, anytime, and easily." The flickering threshold (flicker value) of flashing light decreases with the accumulation of mental fatigue, and it has been known to be a conventional method of using it as an objective measurement method for fatigue, but a specialized large, expensive measuring device was required for measurement. The technology we developed allows measurement of flicker values on general-purpose devices such as mobile phones, smartphones, and PCs, and was implemented as a Flicker Health Management Lite ( FHM Lite ) system that easily manages and monitors fatigue trends.
